Scorpio - Thoughtful, reflective, seeking seclusion amidst the boughs of soft evergreens. Even as she seeks inner enlightenment, the sunset gives the air around her a rosy amber glow.

Rendered in Bryce.

Awesome! I love the wing and flowers:clap: The light is everywhere, How on earth did you get it like that? I can generally only do a few directions while the rest of my scene is in shadow.
In Bryce, the trick to lighting a scene like this is the haze, which is part of the atmosphere settings. I turned up the haze's base height, gave it an orange color, then played with the density until it gave the scene the kind of glow I wanted, without obscuring details. You can get a similar effect with fog but, from what I've found, fog used in this manner is better for things fading into darkness or distance. It's crazy how haze can just lighten a scene.

It's kinda tricky, though, because too much haze will make it so details don't render so well. If you look at my deviation "A Mother's Love", which I made for the zodiac sign of Cancer, you can see how turning up the haze and overusing light washed out the details, making it harder to pick out the features of both mermaids. That's one of many pictures I want to remake one of these days.

Thanks for the feedback!!! Good luck lighting your scenes!
