This was a test of my texturing ingenuity, but here are my firest preliminary images of the so mockling labeled "Princess of Twilight". Once I get a bit more time to devote to them, I'll go back and make some corrections to her costume and start in on constructing those of her companions in 3D, too. Not a true twilight princess, Princess Zelda instead ruled over the kingdom of Hyrule during the time that the self-proclaimed "King of Twilight" invaded with his shadowy forces.

These two pictures were meant to depict the time after Hyrule was freed of the Twili and the true power behind the invasion, Ganondorf, was dispatched once and for all. (Or so we think... he always seems to get resurrected again. Darn those immortal Triforce bits.) In this one, Zelda spends a moment of quiet reflection as she watches the sun set, remembering the days when she hoped and fought for Hyrule. Perhaps also remembering and wondering how those she fought with fare, as well, since she may never see either of them again.
