Based on the impressive works of Alma Tadema, the wonderful and amazingly skilled Gordana asked me to create a few images using her Greek Rotunda
that capture the essence of the romantic Mediterranean culture from days gone by. With garlands of flowers, exotic plants, and flowing fabric that whispered in the warm afternoon breezes, this was a time of the luxury of simplicity and the beauty of nature to be found in all things!
The one thing that saved these images from being a huge challenge was the Greek Rotunda
itself, which was surprisingly easy to work with. Just like the paintings of the old masters, the Greek Rotunda
was full of amazing detail that looked good in -every- lighting, from the afternoon Mediterranean sun to the white of noon, to the dusty twilight of blue under the sea. It isn't often enough, that you can find really nice environment models that look good no matter what lighting you throw at them but these models do just that. On top of that, the level and balance of detail makes it so each different piece of the modular set looks fantastic, whether you're far away or setting up your own personal cameo-styled portrait.Greek Rotunda
