This was a test of my texturing ingenuity, but here are my firest preliminary images of the so mockling labeled "Princess of Twilight". Once I get a bit more time to devote to them, I'll go back and make some corrections to her costume and start in on constructing those of her companions in 3D, too. Not a true twilight princess, Princess Zelda instead ruled over the kingdom of Hyrule during the time that the self-proclaimed "King of Twilight" invaded with his shadowy forces.
These two pictures were meant to depict the time after Hyrule was freed of the Twili and the true power behind the invasion, Ganondorf, was dispatched once and for all. (Or so we think... he always seems to get resurrected again. Darn those immortal Triforce bits.) Ok, perhaps this one isn't so much an epilogue as the other one, more of a spinoff on my part. Princess Zelda, at least in these later games, has not been a milk-and-water-Miss. She's possessed by a steely core of determination and, while somehow she ALWAYS needs rescuing in the end, she has proven time and again that she is entirely willing to fight and die for her kingdom. Maybe one day she'll get her own adventure, where she saves Link, instead. ___________________ Since folks were asking, and I haven't had time/energy to track down my links doc to put up a proper product list, scoot over here if you're interested in what models I used: [link] All clothing textures I made myself, and the hair is painted. Thanks for the encouraging comments, folks. CommentsThe dress is two sets of DAZ3D's morphing fantasy dress for Victoria 4 ([link]) that I carefully layered in Poser, and the hair is painted. I wish I could find 3D hair like that!
